Friends are just that -- friends. Therefore it's their job that they listen to you when you need to be listened to. Or lift you up when you need lifting up. Or yell at you when you need yelling at. Or whatever.
But you can't thank them -- they hate that. I tried to thank mine too and they told me to knock it off. That's why they're called friends -- freindship is about selflessness.
