Old poster still around Discarded: Hello Everyone,
I am still lurking around a bit. Just wanted to say hello to all the old timers and welcome the new.
A bit of my story:
My X wife was a cheating alot behind my back without my knowledge, internet loves, phone sex with internet lovers, and meeting people at the bar for a little romp now and again. I found out all of this in about a months time. I went through all the anger, frustration, depression and the great divorce diet. I went to court and finalized my divorce within the same year as finding out all of this. I ended up with custody of our 3 children and she pays a pittance of child support. I also had to sell the family home.
Divorce is a huge trial and the changes upon your life are forcefully ripped upon your heart and soul.
I have went through all of this and remarried a few months ago to a wonderful woman who I dearly love. I have my 3 children and she has 2 from a previous marriage I won't go into here. We are both very happy together and 100% devoted to each other and our lives together.
There are many changes you will go through; some good some bad, but the life you choose from here on out is your own. Live it well and good, make choices that you want for both yourself and your loved ones (or future loved one). Life is too short. Become the person you wish you were and the person you know you can become. Use positive thinking and think positive of your future.
I write this just to let you all know that there is life post divorce and it is well worth living irregardless of what you have to endure right now to get through to the next day. There is a light at the other end.
