EssieDotCom: I honestly wish I could sit here and candy coat things for you, and tell you that there is such a thing as happy endings. I wish i could show you rainbows and candy cotton clouds, but alas fiction just isn't too well written into a site like this. Maybe some have and had sucess, but i haven't heard any stories around here as such. I can tell you, that right b4 my husband and i were suppose to seperate, I begged and pleaded one last time with how i felt and he gave in. But said it was more for our children than it was for us, if things worked out of us fine if not oh well. Well, for nearly three weeks this ran through my mind and sat back and noticed that nothing was changing between the two of us, although i tried tooth and nail, no real effort to communicate, spend time with me, or anything else that might bring a strang of hope never came from his direction. it was a one woman battle and it drains one person to do the work for 2. And the kids and I eneded up moving back home, 13 hrs from where he's at, anyway. My heart goes out to you and i truely wish that i could give you what you're looking for. I tried everything to get my Ex back, but all that seem to do was push her away faster and further. If your husband isn't trying or doesn't want to try to make it work then you need to face that. Be strong, get help, and start moving on.

Re: anyone got back with their ex? Anyone you know of that its worked for?? Horseface: My STBXW and I got back together and it lasted for 7 years. She reverted back to ignoring me and isolating me again and I just could not stand it anymore.
Both parties have to be willing to stay committed for it to work. Mine got selfish again.
