OMG, CAN THEY BE ANY STUPIDER!!!! starzluv: My H just came over after a confrence about child support for his daughter, and now i'm just as pist about it as he is. i dropped my claim on child support so that he could pay back the state for my assistance, and when that was payed off then we were going to work out child support. they had it set that he would have had to pay me $1000 a month but all i would have got from it was the $497 of assistance so i dropped it for now with the understanding that if i needed something he would get it. so now it was set for him to pay $200 a month till the state was payed off. now he goes in for his daughter and they set her child support at $800 a month leaving him $50 to live off of. just how the HE!! do they expect him to take care of our 3 kids and himself on $50 a month?? i am so pist cuz they didn't even take into acount the 3 kids i have and the fact that he is responsible for them too. if i were to go back on the assitance, then what how would the state go about setting child support for me again when he has no money? i can't believe they are gunna take $800 for her and leave my 3 (WHO LIVE IN THIS STATE) with nothing!!!! THIS IS SUCH BS!!!!

Also in most states the law states that no more than 50% of his paycheck may be withheld for child support. Check into it and see what happens..

Re: OMG, CAN THEY BE ANY STUPIDER!!!! starzluv: not in PA. we've already been told they can take up to 75% of his pay. and PA doesn't care if that doesn't leave you enough to live on. the bad thing is with them taking that much, there is no money for my kids. he went to the confrence, and told them what he spends on rent and such, and about our 3 but they still set the support for 1 kid at $800 and left no nothing for the 3 he has with me.
