Advice on selling rings YellowJacket: Does anyone have any advice on selling used rings after a divorce? Is going to a jewelry store to ask them to buy the stones the best approach?

How about E-Bay? More of a hassle I'm sure but I'd guess that you get a better price than from a jeweler or a pawn shop.

a pawn shop goes by carot weight. meaning a 5,000 ring will get you 100-500 dollars. at least thats what happened up here.... they rip you off.
