An update for all jason: Just wanted to let everyone know what was going on.
The farm is for sale. I have two firm offers as of this morning. My cattle are gone; equipment too; all of it. This farm is so barren right now it is scary. Just me and our dogs left alive up here. I have no real idea what may be coming next in terms of employment. I do know I won't be starting another farm right away. Just not enough cash. This sucks
Settlement is effectively done. STBX has all her money except what will come by the sale of the farm. All bills have been paid. Mostly by me. I was allowed to keep some RRSP's, a little cash and my truck.
I have applied for a realtively quick divorce. I want this done for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that I don't wish to be associated with my STBX any more. Period. She is a bitch, plain and simple. It is done with. Over.
Doors are opening as well as closing, too. Fantastically so, actually. But I am down right now, no doubt.
Thanks to all for your support. It meant and continues to mean a lot to me.

To get through some days it's literally one step at a time. I think a lot of us would agree. You'll continue to get through this and come out on top! Keep your chin up. You know you've got our full support! :)
Re:An update for all jason: Thanks faegonsgold, for your reply. I just came in from walking the place as I have every year at about this time since I was a child. Just an old habit; making lists in my head of things that need to get accomplished.
One of them is to get some fertilizer on my winter wheat. I will be harvesting that crop this year, anyway.
Some trees to clean up and some fencerows o brush out too. So I'm not completely idel. Which is good. But only about 25% as busy as I'd normally be right now.

Even though I dont post much I read the boards everyday and I was really hoping things would work out for you and your farm. It makes me sad that something that rich in family tradition has to be lost. Your in my prayers.
