My son's birthday... PiscesGoddess: Today is my baby boy's 8th birthday.. the sweetest sunniest brightest kid you could ever meet :)
He asked me all day..wonder what Im going to get from daddy.. (me knowing..that his dad will get him nothing..hasnt seen him in 2 months.. just says..honey dont get your hopes up) Then the ex finds his way around to calling..and says.. "I have a present and I will get it to you when I get around to it".. WTF ??? My son looks at me as if this is my fault somehow.. his little heart is broken once again by this heartless bas*ard.. I used to not be able to believe the audacity of this guy.. to not be a father..to not be in his childrens lives.. but .. my kids do not understand.. So I have this fear in my mind..that instead of remembering.. the good things about his 8th birthday..that my son will always remember his dad left him in the dust.. again.. :( Sigh...
But on the bright side.. thanks to a guardian angel ( ;)) I was able to get him what he wanted for his birthday and we are on our way to have McDonalds and then bday cake. .. I am hoping I can salvage this day for my sweet boy... and I know in my heart..that my ex..is the one losing out.. It just hurts me ..to see my little blonde boy kicked once again..by the so called "man" he is supposed to look up too... >:( So .. in honor of my boy..if anyone wants to say Happy Birthday Elijah.. I will be sure and show him...

Re:My son's birthday... ukducky: So hard to let these out, but i know i have to. My stbx (which I thought was sh*tbox at first)LMAO has seen his daughter 4 times in over a year. She is 6. It puts me in tears to hear these things. I'm sure we all wish we could take that pain that is in their little hearts and dispose of it. I know I wish I could.
