4 Year Plan ChrisJane: Finally, I have sat down and planned out my life. The next four years are debt paying times. All I have to do is set aside one check a month for marital debts and they are all paid in full.
So in 4 years I can have a NEW car, no more used nickle/dime cars.
I'm going to start taking classes again to work towards my degree.
Re:4 Year Plan lthacker0708: I am glad to hear that you are working towards your degree. I have a five year plan which includes getting my Masters degree. It also includes working out three times a week, moving into a house, and saving x amount of dollars a month. These are all things that I wouldn't be doing if I were still married. Every cloud has a silver lining. Good luck!
Re:4 Year Plan ChrisJane: I am amazed at how quickly I have bounced back. My credit is still poor but I can get loans now if I want.
My bills are current....I'm enjoying classes. I can take a class a quarter for free. I quit during marriage because it took to much time away from housework to do homework two nights a week.
I even had enough $$ left to save to get a pool for my folks, since they are watching my son all summer
Next summer its BRAND NEW CAR!
