I thought it was a dream
I searched for you most everywhere

I frowned again and left the house
I wondered where you went

Or dream of how we were
Twas not a dream I had in you
Twas an answered prayer
And often times I think of you
And yet you are not there
I sleep alone in our bed of love
And dream about the time
When you were hear just because
Of love when you were mine

I often wonder why God answers prayers
To make us smile or make us praise
Or just because he loves us
I knew that when we said I do
That God had blessed our love
A prayer was answered that day
And yet I didn't praise His name
For bringing your love to me
And now your love is gone
