Awwww, thank God for kids WhiskeyGirl: So yesturday was pretty good actually. I went out with a really good friend of mine and her kids....and we celebrated valentines day single style ;) It was fun.
But I have to say....I stopped in Safeway on my way to her place to pick up some cutsie little cupcakes for the kids and seeing all the guys leaving with flowers and stuff momentarily had me feeling slightly sorry for myself :'(
Anyway...I picked up my daughter at school today and on the wall was some valentine crafts they had done (She's in grade one) Hers said, and I quote (spelling mistakes and all)
My mum is pritty
My mum is smart
My mum maks yummy kookies
My mum tells good storys
My mum has kool makup
My mum is the best mum
I love my mum
And that just made my day ;D
Thank God for kids :)
Re: Awwww, thank God for kids snkpack5: My kids used to always draw me in their pictures with a huge head and eyes. I was always concerned until a teacher explained to me that means you are the most important person in their life. Now I'm okay with it. The bigger the better. ;D

My daughter always draws me with a huge stomach...for a long time I always just said how great it was...I didn't want her to think I didn't like her drawing. But one day I finally said..."Cassidy? Why do you always draw mommy with such a big tummy?" and she said "Oh, thats cuz theres a baby in there" and I said "But, honey...there isn't a baby in mommys tummy" and she said "Yeah, I know...I just like to draw you with a baby in your tummy"
Okay then :-\ LMAO
Oh and sometimes she actually draws the baby in my tummy...it usually has more detail than me ;D LOL
