spouse and new girlfriend with my kids malotsma: My stbx that had an affair and decided we didn't have a good marriage anymore. He gets the kids every other weekend. He lives with the girl and brings my two beautiful daughters to his house with this girl that he cheated on me with. When I told him it might be fun and convienent to live with someone, but it certainly was not best to expose the children to this. He of course called me a name and told me I can't control his life anymore. Why do men think when they divorce their wives they get to do whatever they want? He is so incredibly self centered it's mind blowing. What kind of women have affairs with married men anyway and move in with them? What makes them think if he cheated on their spouse they won't cheat on them. I guess they believe they're different and justify their affair. The thought of this other woman playing house with my children sickens me. It makes me crazy on the weekends when they are with my husband and his stupid piece of trash.

All you can do, since you cant change the STBX, is be there for your kids when they are with you. Let them know that YOU aren't going anywhere, and that you are the bigger/better person in all this.
