Its just that the things that were not right are a problem, and it can blossom into what seems to be a major problem all of the sudden. The feeling, I would bet for her is not that she does not love you, just that she is discouraged and frustrated, she sees your potential and wants that from you...
Just take heart, there are things that you are doing right, I promise...
Re:My Wife says she just doesn't love me anymore Lumpy: I hope we are not hijacking your thread here Mysticman but I wanted to respond to what bkg added...I think in my situation it was a combination of me not realizing how frustrated with me she was, and her expecting me to innately know just how bad things were for her. She claims she has brought up divorce in the past but I honestly have no memory of that. The counselor brought up her seeming penchant for intimation but I don't think she bought into it. Even with all that, I shoulder most of the blame. I ran from the problem instead of facing it. NEVER AGAIN! The memory of the woman I love and still adore looking me in the eye and telling me she no longer loved me is more than enough motivation. I refuse to be that complacent, self-involved idiot anymore! It's a tough lesson but I had it coming. All I can do now is make sure it sticks. Stay sane.

I had realized soon after she left that the only way to make something good come from this all was that I now what to make the changes (not for her but for me) she always wanted.
I can understand why she gave up and Now I'm planning a postive future in which I can be a much better person and not have to go through the hurt all over again.
The only thing I can see as my next major problem is being able to trust in a relationship again?
