Can the world revolve around me for a while? snkpack5: God, I am getting soooooooooo tired of doing for everybody else but myself. I spent my childhood trying to please my parents. I spent my marriage trying to please my ex. I spend my workdays trying to please my boss and coworkers. I spend my time at home trying to make my kids happy. And for once, just once, do you think maybe the world could revolve around me? Can I get ONE day, when all I have to think about is me, just me and no one else? Can I get ONE day, when everything I buy is for me? Can I get ONE day, where I wake up in the morning and I'm not running late because someone forgot to brush their teeth or is having trouble tying their shoe? Can I get ONE day, where I get to do whatever I want every single minute of the day? Can I get ONE day, just ONE day, ONE friggin day?
