Met Someone dontgetit: OK, well 4 months ago I could not even imagine this day...I met someone a couple of days ago and the chemistry is amazing.....It is like a new chapter has begun in my life and for the first time in a VERY long time I am happy....Moral of the story I guess is that what ever our perceptions are right after a breakup there are other fish in the sea.....Although it has only been a few days I can see that I have much more in common with this woman than I ever had with my wife - who knows where it will go, but for now my mind is firmly off the disaster that has been my life for 4 months.....

Re: Met Someone snkpack5: Good for you. I deliberately sabotaged my first relationship after the divorce for whatever twisted reasons I thought justified hurting someone else as I'd been hurt. I think about him a lot because in so many ways, he was probably the greatest guy I've ever known.

I waited to get back into the scene until my divorce was final - one month later I met a truly amazing guy and everytime I think about him, it brings a smile to my lips...needless to say, I think of him often!
Seems as more and more time goes by and the more I am happy with who I am and how far I have come, the ex is now an afterthought!
I love it!
