Maybe the reason he has not asked you out might be the same that is holding you back from asking him out... He may be scared to death to! You seem from your posts that you are a very strong woman in real life...a very take charge and confident woman in the workplace and that is where he see's you most of the time. Granted you may be text messaging him and telling him how you really are but he may lose his nerve when he see's you in real life. He has also been single for many years and may not know how to go about being with someone else, or even asking them out. He may see you as a good thing and not want to ruin it by getting to close to fast...of corse I am just speaking from what you have written and cannot see how he reacts to you when you two are together. i would not give up on the guy and shut him out just yet. Maybe take the first move..the one you are both afraid of taking. I may be waaaaaay off base but like others have said...what do you have to lose...a couple of iPod sales...LOL

Well....my honest, female to female opinon here.
First off...are you this aggressive in real life? Your post is FILLED with bitterness, high maintenance, "balls of steel", no-one mess with me kind of stuff. I mean literally it's like you're the Dirty Harry of the Ex Wives club.
Being confident and being self aware is great, but if just downright intimidating, then hell yeah I'd have a problem getting to the point myself.
Second...it's ok to show your vulnerable side. Not every guy out there is going to screw you over, and if your friends are making jokes about you hiring your divorce lawyer before your next husband...well, you get the point.
You sound like you're running on top speed here with a lot of aggressive confidence. Why not come down a notch from that and just take a breath, and relax.

Now that's some solid advice. I figure he either calls the cops or invites you in. If he calls the cops, write him off. Seriously though maybe you have to take the reins. Sounds like he's more than a little gun-shy. Ask him out.
