bread machine recipes? sadgirlwhyme: a friend game me a bread machine. its brand new in the box but no recipe book.
anyone have any good recipe for maybe sweet appple nut bread or banana bread?
Re: bread machine recipes? tara: Most apple and banana breads are "quick breads" -- no yeast, no kneading. So I don't think they'd work in the bread machine. (They're actually pretty easy to do in the standard oven -- mix together your wet, mix together your dry, mix both together, fold in any extras like nuts or berries, and put in a bread pan and bake.)
I'll let you know if I come across a yeast recipe for those breads.
Oh, and on edit: If you do a recipe with grated apples, watch your knuckles. I took a big chunk out of my thumb yesterday, grating apples.
