Just need a hug btodd: Can anyone answer a question? Why does my ex feel the need to hug me? We don't get along and he makes my skin crawl. When he dropped kids off from visitation last night he asked me for a hug in front of the kids. My four yr old was watching so a gave him one and about vomitted. He also informed me he was not getting remarried. (read prev. post) Was he looking for comfort if so what makes him think he'd get it from me. He also informed me he took a weeks vacation and is going to TX w/ OW. I asked if he wanted the kids that week and he said " No we just need to have family time." >:( So I guess his kids aren't family now just hers. Sorry this rant is forever long but so was the conversation w/ him last night.
Re: Just need a hug seyfert: I don't know why he needs a hug. My stbx used to ask for that too. I finally told him it wouldn't be appropriate given the situation. If he has a girlfriend, it certainly isn't appropriate.
