I need a hug........ IlliniGirl: :-[
My mom called me this morning, and gave me some bad news (and of course she HAD to call me at work).
Let me give you a lil background......my mom has 3 sisters....Tracy, Patti, and MaryBeth.
Tracy's husband, Brian has been sick off and on the last couple of years having bouts of pacreatitis. He had another bout this weekend, and so my aunt took him to the hospital Sunday because of it. His blood pressure and heart rate got extremely high, and so they put him in the ICU. My aunt talked to him last night to calm him down, and it seemed to work. Then everything spiked again, and so the nurse called my aunt and said they were going to give him a sedative. By the time the nurse got back to check on him after that, he was blue. They did CPR and all, but they couldn't save him. He was only 53. He has 2 daughters, one of which isn't married, and now she won't have him there to walk her down the aisle when she does decide to get married.... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
It hits really close to home for me, because Uncle Brian was just a year older than MY dad. It just shows how short life really is.

Re: I need a hug........ IlliniGirl: Thanks guys......I totally feel like a space cadet right now......I'm kind of lost. I'm trying to find a plant or something to send to my aunt, and I'm just kind of staring blankly at the pages.....nothing is making any sense or sinking in.
