But on a happier note...
The stbxh sent me a nastygram yesterday saying I owe him for a bunch of debit card charges I didn't make. I ingored him because I've never gone to the stores that they were changed at. Sure enough, he calls today to tell me his debit card had been stolen and that someone is racking up charges. Karma rocks... here he was trying to con me out of money, and now he's going to have to battle identity theft. Excellent.

He's making me take the cats now. Guess that's his retaliation for refusing to speak to him. I'm going to have to take them to the a (no kill) shelter. Double, no make that triple ugh.
