You find incriminating evidence, your instincts prove to be right. Now you can plan accordingly.
You find nothing, you have less reason to worry about your spouse.
Just don't let them know you're snooping...
Re: "Snooping" made me think reversecowgirl: I admit to snooping too. Of course, I didn't do it without first having the suspicion. I used an online service that will get a hotmail or yahoo email password for you for $50. It was well worth it.
