Executing Lobsters with your Kids C-Note: We don't do this often enough, but there was a sale on Lobster today. So I said what the hell and before you know it sitting next to the juice boxes and fruit rollups we had 2 lobsters my kids hand picked themselves.
[size=20pt"> A simple Lobster Dinner[/size">
1 big pot full of water
3 table spoons of salt
2 condemed lobsters
2 sticks of butter
1.4 cup of ground garlic
1 Italian Bread roll
After bring the Big Pot full of water to boil my youngest asked if the rubber bands would melt in the pot. I never really thought about that before, but I didn't wanna loose any fingers so in they went bands and all. Add the salt at this tim etoo.
I washed off the utility cutter and cleaned 2 pair of pliers while my 9 year old microwaved 2 sticks of butter and mixed in the garlic. He says lobsters evolved from the roach family. He's too smart for his age.
Give the lobsters about 15 minutes to boil and turn bright red.
We layed out an old beach towel on the floor in front of the TV. THere we used steal and muscle rip and dip the chunks of white lobster flesh into butter that has been peppered with the fresh ground garlic.
No manors, no proper ettequte, just plain old fun at dinner time.
We used the edge cuts of the italian bread to scoop the roe and insides out. Be carfull and remember to remove the bile sack.
This is a great dinner time activity with the kids and they have full partipation from start to finish.

Re: Executing Lobsters with your Kids Horseface: I can eat food like that but it has to be removed from the animal first. I tried eating crab one time but having it look at me as I was ripping the shell open just about did me in! have someone else De-animalize it and I'm all over it .. ha.
