Re: Powdah Room 4/7 alonewith2: Many of my past breakups were mutual...they weren't that hard to get over.  I've only had 3 breakups that were completely crushing.  My first real boyfriend, my first long term boyfriend, and my stbx.

To "get over them" (or atleast try to because I still have feelings for each one of them), the best thing I did was to look at all the reasons why it was better to NOT be with them.  Then I focused on how much better my life could be with someone who would actually appreciate me.

And if that didn't work, it did help to date someone else.... ::)

...still looking for that person.  Haven't found him yet.
Re: Powdah Room 4/7 turboss: My first boyfriend lasted about 3 1/2 years and it was like I just woke up one day and was like "hey he's a creep"...and I dumped him that time....everyone thought that I would go back...as I "always" did...but I proved them wrong...I just knew it was OVER.

The second one..."the love of my life"...I am still not over him...I will love him till the day I die...It wasn't me or him that broke it off--it was b/c of his parents (long story)...but he is in the military now...and a long way away from me, but if he ever came back--I would go back with him...it scares the heck out of me that I am so in love with him, but that is truth I guess.

The third, is my stbxh....I will always love him, but it was always different than the "true love" one.  But, for some odd reason it has been easier than # 2...Wierd!  But oh well....I hated him for a while....then hated him some more...then tried to just take him out of our world...and now we are actually trying to "get along"...so, I am not completely "over" him yet...but, it is sooo much better.

Re: Powdah Room 4/7 sheeps: Girls. you're missing the point! If you are the "leaver", it took one second, the moment you met the "other", for you to get over it. It's a matter of perspective.
