Re: what did u all do with wedding rings when marriage ended?????? resengen: I actually had 2 wedding bands.  My first one wound up getting mangle by a pair of plyers during my 2nd year of mairrage (I was on the other side of the pliers  ;) ).  then after we made up I bought another ring.  She kept both my new one and hers after we split.  She doesn't know but I still have my first one.  It is now a pendant I wear soemtimes to remind me of how crappy things were.  Because they are much better now.  I have to remember that to stay vigilent from falling back into it.  I figure I will  melt it and get it remade into a new ring if I get married again.  LOL the irony.
Re: what did u all do with wedding rings when marriage ended?????? tara: My engagement ring was a family heirloom, so it went back to my ex's family (with the condition that my ex doesn't use it on someone else -- it went to a cousin).

My wedding ring is still in a drawer. It wasn't expensive (just a gold band; no stones), so selling it would result in minimal $.

Re: what did u all do with wedding rings when marriage ended?????? clockwork: Sold it-along with my living room furniture, and other odds and ends furniture that i had---had to to afford the $1500.00 retainer fee for my WONDERFUL lawyer

Funny, my ex told me once that he was thinking of having his melted down and made into a cross to wear on a chain around his neck.  I wonder if he thinks that wearing that ring turned into a cross will save him from eternal hell!?!?!?!  LMAO!!
Re: what did u all do with wedding rings when marriage ended?????? rjack0612: I threw it down the sewer on her boyfriends street the night I caught her cheating.
Re: what did u all do with wedding rings when marriage ended?????? ATLGIRL777: I plan on taking the diamond and getting a brand new ring made with my birthstone on on side and my sons on the other.  Love that diamond, might as well make something I can use and enjoy out of it!  The band I will melt down as a pendant for my son when he is older.  For now they are both in a box in the closet! lol  ;)
