Re: HORRIBLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Plucky: Does your custody/visitation agreement have anything written in to keep this sort of thing in check?
Re: HORRIBLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! clockwork: Nope!!!
Our temporary orders stated that neither of us could have K around anyone that we were dating, etc after 10:00pm, but once the divorce was final, all of that was thrown out of the window. Texas laws are good to a point, but some of the crap in this state is just stupid!!!
Re: HORRIBLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Plucky: You have got yourself a tough choice, then. I agree with writing the letter...if nothing else, you've got it in writing that you've tried to discuss the problem and find a resolution. I hope you have success in helping your little one understand.
Re: HORRIBLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! clockwork: Thanks Plucky, and everyone else.
I try so hard to include in his every aspect of K's life--hell, i even invited him to Thanksgiving dinner (No, he didn't come-said he would, but didn't call and didn't show up until it was time to get K for the day. JERK!!!) I am trying so hard to co-parent this beautiful little boy with him and he just doesn't get it. He thinks that just because we are not married anymore, that this little boy's life is not a joint effort.
I guess it's like he said this morning' "I didn't say it, so it's not my problem."
