Re: Ow and threatening calls 2be: I agree with clockwork!!! Do NOT erase that message and get the cops involved. They will take that very seriously, especially because there is an infant involved. That'll teach her to hold her skanky tongue.

Actually, I have a fave that I send my 4 year old in:

;D it helps that it's her fave too! :D :D

Cute...
Well, unfortunately, ladies I DID erase it... at first I just shrugged it off, I didn't want my older boys hearing it... >:( then as the night worn on, it tore at me... :( and I already ERASED it.. Nothing I can do...nothing... :'(
My sister said, I should get my lawyer to talk like I have it...and go from there... :(
Gee, if only my lawyer would call! >:( grrrrr
It's just a shirt... :(
My STBXH wore sarcastic shirt ALL the time... One of his favorites, was, "give me he#%"...so I figured he would of laughed at my son's shirt. ???
If it REALLY bothered him, he should of talked to me... :(
Funny, how they don't comment when I send the kids in brand new outfits, or extremely nice clothes. ::)
Re: Ow and threatening calls clockwork: Just call your lawyer and tell him or her what is going on.
One really good tip that my lawyer gave me was to get a record phone calls. The thing is you have to make sure that you can legally record phone calls in your state. In Texas, it is PERFECTLY legal to record calls between yourself and someone else, you just can't record calls between two other people who have no idea you are doing it.
I bought a recorder and attachment at Radio Shack for about $20and used it the heck out of it. ANYTIME he called, i recorded the conversation, just in case you need to prove something in court.
One of the best pieces of advice i have gotten from here came about a week ago. I was having a problem with the OW---IMAGINE THAT!!! Basically, everyone just told me that until i put my foot down and proved to them that i was going to take any legal action possible to stop the crap, they would continue to walk all over me. Well, I told the xh EXACTLY what i expected to happen and what i would do if it didn't. This weekend when they came to pick K up-she kept her stupid ass in the car.
You have to show them that you mean business and they are not going to act like a couple of juvenille idiots and get away with it. I know it's hard because YOU don't want to add to the friction, but this is ridiculous. She is seeing how far she can push you. Put a stop to it now, before it gets worse. It stops some of the crap and it feels SOOOOOOO good to show them how things are going to be.
Keep your chin up---it will get better. You are the better person and it will work out.

That's what I am worried about... :(
I also know my STBXH, can't do anything without female help...duh ::)
I just keep hoping I can make it through this...if only the OW wasn't stuck in my face all the time... >:(
Re: Ow and threatening calls clockwork: Like i said---i learned a VERY VALUABLE lesson last week:
They will do it until you tell them they can't!!!!! I stood up for myself and it worked. If it takes legal action to do that---oh well---they deserve it.
They don't care about making this easy on us, so----don't worry about making it easy on them. Protect yourself AND your kiddos!!!!!
Let me know what happens ;)
