Re: Let's all give support and encouragement to GS!!! YellowJacket: GS took it. Management is doing a re-org on the office supplies. Apparently the stapler now reports to the non-ink-based-and-fastening-products department.
I'm not sure if this is the right move since they just re-orged the opposite direction six months ago but I know management would never waste valuable time and company resources just to justify their positions. I'm sure!

Lumpy, you'll need to write a memo explaining in detail what your need for the stapler is... in triplicate... and notarized. Expect not to hear an answer back from management in 6-8 weeks...
I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Lumpy, don't forget to update her hourly on the status of that memo.
FYI, she'll need to conduct an interface dialog with you going forward to be sure you aren't spinning your wheels. This helps her maximize core synergies to further our placement in the corporate space.
