Re: Value all your opinions but are you sure? superwife: 13 months tomorrow (and still not legally over). Good days, and bad days. But today, I can admit, it's better than it was 13 months ago. At the very least, I can definitely say I am better off without him, and do not want him back. Sometimes (very few times) I miss him...the old him. Not the new him.

the key is to see how long those memories last. you have good, bad days, ive been seperated since sept 04, divorced since june 05 and i have "little" days or moments i should call them..........
they last about 30 seconds, and gone. alot better than it was a year and a half ago........... memories are going everyday.
it does get better......
Re: Value all your opinions but are you sure? dgrrl: it does get easier in time... but it takes a lot of pain to get here and a lot of effort. It's been 14(?) months for me, and just thinking where I was and where I am, i dont even recognize myself back then. Just keep focusing on yourself and try and distance yourself as much as possible from them. The less you know, the better off you'll be.

i am spending more time remembering the good, and actually feeling good about the good.
but i agree....know less and less. don't search for info. no contact is how healing happens.
i am happier without him. i miss him, but i am hapier without him. i may love him for the rest of my life, but we are better off without one another.

Re: Value all your opinions but are you sure? bishop: It has been the worst 10 months of my life and we are 249 days from legal divorce. It is difficult, the pain is real and sometimes unbearable. Does it get easier? - at times. My kids are with her over 1200 miles away and not a day goes by that I wish it was different. But when the person does not love you anymore then what is there to hold on to? Someone will love us all again. It can happen, right?
