havind a sad moment vanwri0206: Im having a sad moment guys.... just need some encouraging words
Re: havind a sad moment YellowJacket: Hang in there, Van.  Life has many ups and downs and it sounds like you're in a down stage.  Just keeping thinking how good the next up stage is going to feel.

Maybe ask yourself what you could do to make it get here sooner.  Call an old friend?  Exercise until you're exhausted?  Help someone out with something to make their day brighter?

Re: havind a sad moment Goddess: What yellowjacket said...sometimes just getting out of your own head and helping someone else can make the things that seem insurmountable just that much smaller.

Or get out and exercise..i was having a hideously crappy week and I swore to myself I was going to get to the gym and workout yesterday even if it was just for a little while..and it really helped :)

Remember the ojar creed..

You're good enough
You're smart enough
and doggone it..
People like you! :)

It may not feel like it right now.. but it always gets better.. maybe not better in a huge "ticker tape" parade kinda way..but just in little moments..just pay attention.

I will refrain from posting the lyrics to "blue skies are gonna clear up..put on a happy face...." :P

Re: havind a sad moment specialk: PROMISE

I have been to the core, of misery and despair.

I have caught sight of the dragon, and rode its tail.

Tread, in to the periphery of hell.

Transcended, the point of no return.

Encountered, the consuming brute force, of the sinister whisperer.

Who, swamped my thoughts, with his conniving machinations.

I was present, in the never ending dark tunnel you walk in now.

I have trod the earth, with that indistinguishable dark cloud hovering over you.

I have suffered your, shear utter desperation.

I have felt your need, to hide under a rock for the rest of your life.

To wish, it was a dream and to awake, from this ghastly nightmare.

I have experienced your feeling, of every single mouthful, of air spawning an ache in your heart.

I was at that very place, where you lay in your bed, surrounded by darkness, with tears streaming down your face.

Yearning, to be comforted, and reassured in someone’s arms.

I understand, your burden feels, overwhelming for you to carry at this moment

Your heavy heart, your confusion, numbness,

soullessness, your emptiness,

sleeplessness and wondering the streets in a daze.

Are all, very familiar to me.

I PROMISE you, one day the dark clouds will evaporate, and you will, see the golden sky.

You will, climb out of the abyss.

You will, emerge from the passageway of darkness.

And walk, once more, in sparkling sunshine.

You will, hear the singing lark.

This I promise you, for I have arrived there now.
