It was about the same time she moved out that the new guy asked her out (I know the whole story, and he isn;t an ass for doing so, I wish I could say he was.)
She was in a transition in careers. It's funny, I am a microbiologist. She was a microbiologist. She switched into personal training, now is seeing a personal traniner/massage therapist. Its like I don;t fit in her life anymore since all she does is go to the gym. ...and don;t get me started on things I said to her about how she could improve....I'll never understand why I sadi those things.....
We still ahve finances and stuff to take care of, so are still in touch. Today was her big practical exam. Once she passes it, then she is a certified trainer. And to know she will running into his arms to share her joy and not mine does make me sick....literally - I've thrown up 3 times today.
All this because I was not forthcoming with my feelings. That's it. I think of telling her she's the most special girl in the world, but I never say it.....
This shouldn;t have turned out like this. How do you forgive yourself? I a looking for roomates when WE should be looking at houses!!!!!!!!!!! F&^K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has NO IDEA what she has done to me. She has changed me and my view on so many things about our life and life in general, I find it a shame that a new girl will benefit from this......It deserves to be Sarah. SHe put up with alot, and then just ran out of strength and gave up......Now she is with a guy that is nice, romantic (and that is what she was craving), the guy is in GREAT SHAPE, and will not make the same mistake(s) I did.
I truly want her to be happy. and I know I could let her go if she just told me what was bothering her and then at least we both could have tried our best, and if it didn't work, then we could walk away with our heads high saying he have no regrets because we did the best we could. I can't say that and when she told me what the problem was, she was gone.
What did I do? Why couldn't I see?

Let me tell you man that whatever happened, happened. You cant change the past, but you must change the way you look at it to move on. keep your mind, body and spirit in shape. you will feel better about yourself and the situation soon. Dont dwell on it so much man. we are all here for each other man. ojar is a great place for support.
