computer question??????? twine: think this is a good spot to post this, does anyone know if i can patch my computer to my home stereo, my cd player went on the fritz and i have over 4000 songs on my computer, i have upgraded speakers for the puter but have a big @ss home stereo that really sounds good , would love to play music from my puter through the stereo....

Your sound card will have an output plug. You can go to Best Buy and anywhere else that sells cables and buy a "mini-jack to RCA" cable.
Just tell someone in the store what you're doing and they will know exactly what cable you want. It looks like a Y and all three ends are male.
You can also buy an extension for either side of that cable so that you can run it under the carpet and out of the way.
