Re: Dating A Buddy's Ex Plucky: How about talking to your friend about it first?
Re: Dating A Buddy's Ex thehitekrednek: I have, he seems cool, but I don't know. He has already sabotaged our first attempt to go out, by not taking his kids. He always takes his kids, when he gets the chance.

Re: Dating A Buddy's Ex Plucky: Ooooohhhhhhh.  So they have children together.  Different situation now.
Re: Dating A Buddy's Ex Zipsfb: Seriously.. you know it's a risk.  The damage may already have been done, and since you've talked to him (and did the respectable thing), do whatever you feel is best.

If you are seriously interested in this woman I would do it, but if you think your friendship with your buddy is more important don't pursue her anymore.  If you choose not to pursue her, I would tell your buddy what you did for him in an attempt to undo what has already been done.

Of course your friends may be different than mine are...
Re: Dating A Buddy's Ex thehitekrednek: I can't have the "what if", she is someone I have always coonected with on many different levels. This is a new level, one which I can't say I didn't want to happen, but avoided because of her ex.
