GETTING MY EX BACK setanta:
My ex and I had a very steamy passionate volatile relationship.......on/off for 3 years.We have in the past broke up about 4-5 times,always getting back together. We broke up mutually, even tho we were both tearful at the airport.This time however she has within a week gone straight into another relationship with a guy she has been chatting with for ages online behind my back.I know if I ASKED HER TO STAY 2 WEEKS AGO WHEN WE BROKE UP SHE WOULD HAVE....My pride stopped me....I missed her like crazy,and as soon as I found out she was seeing this guy almost a week after our split I HAVE BEEN DISTRAUGHT WITH GRIEF....such the quickness of it is insensitive to say the least.........But I still want her back....I have sent her 5 emails and lots of text messages........I EVEN WROTE POETRY FOR HER.........I KNOWE NOW I SHOULD HAVE HAD NOT DONE THIS ...NO CONTACT IS THE BEST CHANCE I HAVE OF GETTING HER BACK....She responded......basically saying she wasnt coming back and that what I was feeling was mixed emotions with her seeing another guy...........Off course she is correct there...But I know deep down I still desire and want her so badly.
HAVE I RUINED MY CHANCES BY HAVING THIS CONTACT ALREADY.....AND SHE LIVES FAR AWAY.....AND I THINK SHE IS ALREADY LIVING WITH THIS GUY..........???????
I AM DESPERATE FOR ANY ADVICE U COULD GIVE

Re: GETTING MY EX BACK corkscrew: There are no rules when it comes to love. Anything is possible. I have no advice except to continue the no contact. You might be surprised. A lot of people want to come back when they realize they might have lost someone.
Re: GETTING MY EX BACK setanta: Thanks Corkscrew for replying ........Yeah I am gonna try this..........even downloaded an ebook "how to get my ex back " Gotta have 30 days no contact......I would just feel such much better if there wasnt another guy involved already...She is obviously totally rebounding ..so she does not have to deal with the pain of being alone...

Re: GETTING MY EX BACK Older Guy: Setanta - like in your other post (other thread) no contact is your best bet but you should be careful about making the assumption that she is rebounding - she may or may not be - she may have checked out of the relationship while still in it.

Re: GETTING MY EX BACK newts: When people yoyo in their relationship (meaning, breaking up and getting back together) Usually there is a final straw for one or not if both people to have moved on emotionally way before they actually decide that enough is enough. I would say she has had enough and wants to find a healthy, stable relationship and I think you should too.
I am a big believer that once you have broken up once there is very little hope of things working out for a long period of time, what's the point, your just delaying the inevitable as most reconciliation end the same way they did the first time around. Break the habbit and emotionally checkout like she has.
