Re: GETTING MY EX BACK setanta: Thanks Older Guy and Newts for your comments..........Sure we did break up a few times but that is not as clear cut as I previously explained.....there were underlying factors , this is not easy to say for me but she actually stole money from me and ran off with it........each time she came back....I HAVE FORGIVEN HER FOR THIS...ITS OBVIOUSLY NOT EASY TO FORGET.......But I know the only way to move on with this relationship was to draw a line in the sand and move on.........this I have been unable to do i.e until now..I have previously resented her and had trust issues because of this(perfectly normal i guess)
This time apart has made me see that I must put this behind us...........She is genuinely sorry for this ....
She has responded to my previous emails today...saying she still loves me and always will.....but just cant take the chance that we will go back to the old ways...i.e my resentment towards her etc.....She could not handle another break up...and wants to move on.........
Well at least she responded....is it a bad idea to respond to her mails...??

Re: GETTING MY EX BACK setanta: No her emails are basically saying she cant take another chance on coming back and that we both have to move on.........all makes practical sense.........But since when is love practical and rational......
She basically feels that when she gets here that I would not want her again........see we cant take it slowly...as in we have to live together as we r now in different countries..i.e UK an Ireland......so her coming back means coming back to live together....
She is scared now

Re: GETTING MY EX BACK angelina: you know i think the best thing sis for no contact but you have to reaslise she may never get in contact again my husband as never been in contact with his son or me for aover ayear and i have to deal with that which hurts because i thought he was so different and woul dstay in contact with his son i have sent letter photos but what els can i do we have to let them choose not to push them let them do what they want

I know I may have pushed her already.........but i felt I needed to write those emails...........i will now deffo start a period of no contact....for her sake as much as mine.......
Sorry to hear about ur ex.....the fact that he does not have contact even for his son is beyond belief....I have 2 daughters from previous relationships which didnt work out...I have and always had kept contact ...its vital......U may have had a lucky escape after all
