Don't Get Old Freckles: My Aunt is in the Hospital , She lives in the Old Folks Home(A Modern One)
She is Dieing of Cancer(They Think) May take a Year or so.
The Nurses will bring her her food sit it on the table and walk out.
In a Hour they come and get the Tray and leave.
My Aunt will not Eat Unless you feed her like a Baby.
My Mom can't Sit there every Meal everyu day and Feed Her.
So, they will have to put in a feeding tube sooner or later.
So, Don't get Old. They will Not Hand Feed You
If You Poop Your Adult Dipers(She does not have them)
Then you can Sit in your Own Poop until the Next Day when they Change everyones Diper and Hose you off with the Hose !
My Aunt has come close to Death 3 Times in the past 3 months
Its a Good thing one of my Sisters is a Nurse Practioner
3 Times (And More) She has went to the Nursing Home and Started Hollering At Those Nurses there and Screaming at them and then they Styart Hopping Like Frogs in a Hot Skillet !
So they are Mad at my Sister
My Aunt is Alive Now because of Her!
P.S.
My Sister is in Charge of Several Nusing Homes and at Several Hospitals She has Entire Floors with Patents
(She is on the Phone every minite with Nurses they are saying This Patent is Coding ! Dying ans She is Telling them what to do!
She is Smart

My Great Uncle is dying of cancer and in a hospice right now. He is 2 hours away, over a pass so I cannot visit him like I should. We went over a week ago and it broke my heart to see all of those people all alone.
You are right. Don't get old. Well after seeing all of the elderly people sitting around all by themselves I came home with a determination to volunteer somewhere around here (my home). Even if it is to just sit and talk with someone. I think it will help ME too. By giving to others maybe it will help my broken heart, after what my husband did to me.
Just a thought for you. I don't know what your situation is but maybe you could volunteer sometime? I hate to think of someone dying alone.
