camp sparks: My ex is sending the kids to a summer camp in a different state. That is not a problem with me but he says that I dont have to sign anything. I find that hard to believe. I had to get his signature on the medical form to send my kids to a day camp around the corner. How can the forms to send them out of state not require my signature?
Re: camp jillieb44: I just filled out forms for my son's camp and it didn't ask for both signatures. It's also out of state. I put both our names and contact numbers on it.

Re: camp sparks: Okay thanks. Im just suspicious of my ex.
Re: camp timetobefree: Ditto to what Jillie said. I used to run an overnight Girl Scout camp, and we only needed one signature for the registration materials
However, we did require that the parent dropping the child off give us a list of the people allowed to pick their child up. Then only people on that list with picture ID could pick the child up. Even if the other parent came to pick the child up, if they weren't on the list, we couldn't release the child. Obvious safety precautions.
