That's good, but not quite as good as ROCKY.

Re: Favorite movie? PickingUpThePieces: My #1 is The Shawshank Redemption.

Blade Runner

Blade Runner is one of my Dad's favorite movies.  Growing up I watched it a few times but never really sat and soaked it in.

Then in college I took a psycology class.  On the first day the professor had us watch Blade Runner and afterwards assigned us to report about what we saw.

During that class we viewed the movie 4 times and was asked to write about various aspects of the movie that the professor pointed out afterwards each time.  You really think you understood soemthing till someone helps you focus.

"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"  In the end we finally were assigned to read the book the movie was inspired by.  The class was one of the most interesting experiments I every participated as a lab rat.

We think we know something that we've read, studied and drawn conclusions on then someone places a filter over the lens to bring other aspects into view.  Then the dark light is turned on, Over and over this professor led my class by the hand to teach us to open up our minds to new ways of thinking and seeing.

Pulsecharge, Blade Runner is an epic that fly's over most so high that they may dismis the movie altogether and say it's stupid.  But I guess you and my Dad knew it was aswome all along.
