They leave or tell us they want out, but we're the bad ones for protecting our own interests by consulting an attorney and filing for divorce first. Hmmmm. I guess everything is supposed to happen according to their little plan. How fair!
I know it sucks. Divorce always sucks and the fact that you have to look at his face everyday makes it just that much more so.

Re: Tired of it all wesnickat: There is nothing harder than living with a person who does not want to be with you anymore. I did it for six months. It was pure hell. But during that time I decided it was time for me to make a change. I have changed for the better. I am the better stronger person. I dealt with things that needed to be dealt with and I became stronger. He has not dealt with anything and will soon fall into the same boat we were in.
I know it is very hard right now, but focus on yourself and children. Do things for you and your kids and act like he is not even there. I know easier said than done. Take it one step at a time. Baby steps can get you far. Just take that first baby step.
It does get better and you will be the stronger better person.
