One of the hardest towns hit is Peabody. Everything in that town is closed and a dam in Methuen is being watched in fear of it breaking under the pressure of the water. The river it holds back is 4 feet above flood level. It's already washed out the foot bridge that goes across it.
That's the north shore... the rivers run down towards us... which sucks!
I have about an inch of rain in my basement now. Good thing the roof was done and new gutters put on otherwise I'd have huge issues!
It's been rumored that the sun should pop out sometime today, and we shoud be sunny tomorrow... just in time for more rain on Thursday and Friday. ::) We'll see...

I COMPLETELY agree with you. I am SO sick of the bloody rain.......ugh. I want to ENJOY the green grass and flowers....not sit inside because it's bloody raining..... >:(

My entire family is in Lawrence/Methuen. :-\ Last night they were saying that it was up to 13" of rain over the last week or so.
