Re: Need help bad. -Custody Ciera: I already have the paperwork.  When I got the letter threatening attendence court I went  ??? ??? ??? and went down to the school to figure out what was going on.  Turns out he called them in 9 times when they might have been sick 1 or 2 out of those.  They were called in twice when I had them.  I  kept the paper
Re: Need help bad. -Custody LNC: I take that to be School Attendance Review Board.  That is good you have that letter but also request the records from the school to show that he was enabling the lack of attendance by falsy calling in sick for the children.  The more facts you have the better the outcome for you.

Re: Need help bad. -Custody Ciera: I got the attendence letter friday.  He took them sun night and I talked to him about it and told him they could not miss any more school.  That tuesday he called them in again.  What bothers even more is my 7 year old took issue with me for being mad at her dad for calling them in.  She already has the idea that wanting to sleep in or just spend time with dad are reasons not to go to school.   >:(
Re: Need help bad. -Custody smokin: what state do you live in? (other than confusion, and thats not considered the 52nd state) lol

i would get a lawyer (pronounced li-ar) and take him back to court on the account of that. and any other records you have. have you been keeping a daily log, or anything? to tell bumps, bruises, missing school etc? if so, show your lawyer that too.............

sucks, but it can be done. freaking people should know kids need school..

good luck......
Re: Need help bad. -Custody LNC: Have you told the school to request a Medical Excuse from him?  Maybe if he actually had to take them to the Doctor he might start sending them to school.  From experience though, some people find a way of getting false medical excuses.

I am more familiar with California Laws but I don't know what state you are from.  Here in Cali, I say you have a great chance of getting what you want.
