Haha! last time he beaned him, Springer said he lost control of the pitch, then changed his story and said he always throws brushback pitches to Bonds cuz he is tired of him crowding the plate with his arrmor-plated arm. Says he never meant to hurt him though. :(
It'll be interesting to see if Berkman ends up getting beaned in todays game.
