What song(s) have helped you through your divorce? Maximus: I find solace and comfort in listening to music during my divorce. The most therapeutic music that I have listened to is from Incubus. "A Crow Left of the Murder" and "Make Yourself" are my 2 favorite CD's.
Saw the concert in the Woodlands (Houston) a few years ago.
Re: What song(s) have helped you through your divorce? twine: through out my divorce i have leaned heavily upon music, it all depended on the day what i listened to but last night i was listening to a song that meant alot to me for the time I am at right now....it was FEELING STRONGER EVERY DAY by CHICAGO
Re: What song(s) have helped you through your divorce? ctrlaltdelete: Wow, I'm going to open myself up here to a bunch of insults and snide comments, I'm sure, but the best therapy after my divorce was playing Christina Aguilera's "Fighter" over and over again. Actually the whole Dirrty album kind of helped me, though I don't know why because that's not usually the music I listen to. She's got a lot of strength in her voice.
Re: What song(s) have helped you through your divorce? Maximus: Hey, to each his or her own ;)
No insults here. I also found comfort in "Pink"s music, as well as Sugar Ray.
It all depends on what message the songs convey to you.
I'm quite fond of the "Dirrty" video. - I think that's the one - where she is in the mud pit.....
I also like "Blue" by Leanne Rimes.
