I was done. Enjoy your life now. You're not a caveman. Don't beat yourself up over it. People make mistakes. I'm not saying move on to another relationship, just forget about whatever it was and tadah.

After all, the day is big for ME, not them! I figure, if it means something important to you - communicate it - don't expect the other person to remember your calendar!!! More important to me, is remember to talk to me. If we have a good relationship, a birthday is just a day.

I agree with Shey. I would have flat out told you that it was my B.Day and since you forgot you had better call FTD NOW. :)
Just tell your GF you were an idiot and need her to hit you over the head (not literaly) should you ever forget something like that again. People make mistakes. Geesh.
