Re: What is in Oregon??? lodaca: Great list blus,

You covered the coast pretty well, I will add Heceta Head Lighthouse, a haunted B&B.

Don't forget Mt. Hood with 3 ski resorts

I will add to the Gorge, incrediable windsurfing (not that I have tried),  Multnomah Falls and some wonderful hiking.

In Bend there is Mt. Bachelor a great ski resort.

There is also Crater Lake which was a volcano that collapsed in on itself and formed a lake.

I have lived in serveral states and I will tell you that between having the Coast and the Mountains it doesn't get much better.  Could rain a little less in the NW but it is worth it.

Re: What is in Oregon??? audi_driver: same thing as where I live. I have an hour drive to the Jersey shore, an hour drive to a top 3 snowboarding park and NYC right across the river......

That's why I love this state.......the best of all worlds.

Re: What is in Oregon??? Melbel: Yes, it is nice when it is sunny!  However, the other 9 months out of the year is "special".

I like living here and going and doing but my x is here and it is too wet for me :)

I love the Ducks I go most of the football games!!  It is a tradition!

Am I the only person in Oregon...
Re: What is in Oregon??? lodaca: No I am in Oregon also.  Only for the last 8 years.  I guess the rain hasn't gotten to me yet.  It is just nice because it stays green here all year.  I hate gray winters.
