Suffuring Intimacy withdraw amIacaveman: Well, there is nothing worse than having intimacy withdraw after a break up.  You know that feeling of isolation.  You try tricking yourself by keeping yourself busy with other things like work.  It works for a while but eventually it seeps in and alters your ways of thought.  Something that didn't bother you before now bothers the hell out of you.  Which sucks, because what ends up happening is that your co-workers and friends are the first one to notice your change in mood and they have no idea what to say to you...thus creating "an awkward moment."

For my sake and the people around me...I get out of this funk ASAP!

Re: Suffuring Intimacy withdraw fkunone: I hear ya bud.  But y'know what?  People around me have been saying I'm lighter, happier (in general) and brighter *jumps in rainbow shoes*.

LOL.

Look, it's gonna feel like that for awhile.  Take it.  Don't let it affect you.  Stop the thoughts.  Lack of intimacy sure does suck, but guess what, you'll learn more about yourself.

Stay connected with your 'self'.  Then that feeling of some kind of lack of intimacy kinda fades.
