Re: maybe all our righteous indignation is wrong?!? brokenbaby: Doesnt sound like you've lost your mind.
Sounds like you are doubting yourself and other things way too much.
Hang in there. You need to stop thinking about when they will get theirs and get out there and start living yours! Not until then will you be able to be happy.
What goes around comes around. Sometimes it just takes longer to go 'round.
I dont think I'm dillusional when thinking that my stbxh's inability to feel is going to catch up to him some day.

They don't live together. He is trying to buy a house by himself and she lives 20 minutes away. Maybe that's what makes it so easy for them. They don't have the realities of everyday mundane life to deal with. They get to giggle on the phone and look forward to spending the night with each other however often they do. They don't have to fight over cleaning up dog poop or who's gonna call for pizza this time. Regardless, it seems to work for them.

Maybe it works for them but would that work for you? Sounds more like a casual relationship than anything really serious. If that's all he wants then he probably wasn't the right guy for you.
