Those feelings are completely normal and it's great that you have accepted that for now your ex is not coming back. There is noway in hell that you will be on this emotional roller coaster forever, it's just another emotion and our emotions can change in a second and they same emotion doesn't last forever - thank god when we are feeling down, shame when we are feeling great that that emotion can't last forever.
Taking time out is great for you and just because you have lost your sex drive, that sure ain't going to last forever (you are a male - high levels of testosterone etc - you will find your sex drive again and I am sure it will be sooner than you expect).
Enjoy your freedom, moving back into your house and your own company and I am sure now you have a little more stability in your life again you will be ready to take those baby steps of moving totally forward again.

Re: Hopeless feelings have returned Feel: DOn't feel that way! I know it's hard but humans are capable of a lot... though it may take a while you still need to wake up everyday and do your daily routine! You will love again, our hearts have a capacity to no end. (i beleive)
stay strong, but you sure that living in that house will help you move forward?

I'm paying an insane mortgage on it. :) What's weird is I was there last night and I actually felt a lot better. I let her live there for 6 months after we broke up so that she'd feel comfortable. I think I made my ammends for making out with a girl in a bar which initially caused all this monkey business.
