Pregnancy Zipsfb: So my current SO has missed her period... it's been over 1 month since we've done anything that would cause a pregnancy and she has had her period after we stopped sexual contact. Still she is worried she may be pregnant. She took four take home tests. The first two back to back: the very first one was positive and the second negative. Then the next day two more back to back (more expensive tests) and both turned out negative.
I have been very supportive of her, but don't know what to make of the situation. She's going into the doc today to get tests through him. Thoughts? I know those tests are supposed to be 99% accurate, especially this late after any possible conception. What do ya'll think?

There is a website called.. www.peeonastick.com that tells all about pregnancy tests and the different reasons you can get a "false" positive result.
I would more than likely say it was a faulty test.. ??? but with womens hormones.. ya just never know!
She should just get a blood test from her doc to be 100 percent sure.. and like I said.. that site is full of information.

Re: Pregnancy corkscrew: I tested negative when pregnant and I ended up having a miscarriage. Apparently some level was not high enough to trigger the positive result because something was wrong with the baby.
