Re: Ideas needed Crazylife: [quote"> most recently Barcelona[/quote">
Just yesterday I was thinking of Barcelona. Or anywhere in Spain. How was it?
Re: Ideas needed jerseygirl: It was wonderful. I stayed in a small town outside the city and just took the train into the city on the days I wanted. it worked out really well. It was a beach town and a nice contrast to the busy, loud city. I went in April so it wasn't too hot (although there was a ton of people on the beach starting on their tans!) the total trip was $1000 for airfare and hotel for 6 nights 7 days (expedia.com)
If you want more info, let me know. If you have never been to Eurpoe, you should definitely go!

I've been to France and England and had a great time! Spain is on my agenda next. $1000!!! How did you manage that? I will PM you a little later if it's OK. Thanks!

are you living my life???!!! I have been to England and France as well (Paris)! So far my favorite has been Paris but I'm glad I went to Spain.
I haven't decided what my next country is yet. I love France so much I am thinking about touring the south of France... or maybe Italy next.
(ps. sorry for the hijack!)
Re: Ideas needed Crazylife: I spent most of my time in the south of France and I highly recomend it. It is much more relaxing and I think the food is better. The air is definitely cleaner than Paris. ;D I only spent a week in Paris and now regret it. I wish I had had more time there. Never even got to see the louve! Imagine that. I will go back when I can.
Yes Italy! Though I have been told it is a no-no in the summer. Too hot and too many tourists. My Aunt went and the only thing she warned me about were the pickpockets. I guess they are all over......
Spain is next for me. When I was in the south of France people thought I was from Spain. I was called senorita all of the time and they were often surprised when I responded back in English. It was fun!
