I've found with single men I worry they are taking my actions as flirting and wanting more--I just want to hang with the guys. Course the first married man that hits on me--he'll regret it ;D

I've been dying to know (and NOT because I go after men wearing rings)...I used to get a lot of attention when I wore my rings versus right after the separation/ divorce.

Ok, Here's how Friday night went. Went out to eat at a resturant with a friend of mine. Waitress was sorta flirty, but that was probably to get a better tip. No conclusion there.
Then we went to a local bar to sing karaoke. This was REALLY interesting.
Standing at the bar...within 20 minutes, I got a drink bought for me, which is strange because I don't get a lot of drinks from women. There was a lady about 35 at the other side that came over and I thanked her for the Jack and Coke. Conversation ensued and she finally asked me if I was married. I said yes to see what her reaction was. Well, she had said that her and her husband had gotten in a fight and she was up here to blow off some steam. I empathized and was polite about it all. She said she had better get going and wanted to know if I wanted to go with her. I asked where to and she said anywhere that we could be alone. I was thinking what the hell? Anyway, I told her that there was no way I would ever be the cause of someones relationship problems. So, she gave me her cell # just in case I changed my mind. BUT (this is funny) I could only call her from 8am-3pm! What a bunch of crap.
That was the only weird thing that happened the rest of the night. Most of the younger girls avoided me like the plague. That was pretty typical when I was married. There was a really cute girl I was kind of flirting with and she said "Um....you are married." DOH! Forgot about that friggin ring! Oh well, another day another time I guess... ;)
