ex remarries Billsfan709: My ex is set to get remarried in October of this year..to the the guy she left me for. :-X We were divorced July 2003.
Three questions..
1. If your ex-spouses have remarried or are about to, how have you reacted.
2. How soon after the divorce did it happen?
3. How long did their second marriage last?
Thanks,
Chris
Re:ex remarries mv2: Sorry there are no replies. I was interested to hear what people have to say as my ex is going down the same path, or so I am told.
Hang in there. She is someone else's burden now.
Re:ex remarries notbychoice: yes I too was hoping there would be replies to this. I also would liek to hear from some OJARers who have been divorced awhile and what their lives are like now. Are they better off???
Re:ex remarries Billsfan709: Well then let's BUMP it..got this term from my favorite teams message board ..the Buffalo Bills..it means replying to your own post to keep it prominently displayed
C'mon people! Someone out there must have something to relate!

Re:ex remarries janee: Kind of soon to be getting married. Six months after my sister divorced, she met a new guy and got married. That was eleven years ago, and amazingly, they are still together. Suppose she is afraid of being alone. I was talking with some friends last night, about remarrying(I don't want to get married again), just the topic. Most people who get married right away don't last. 50% of first marriages end in divorce. Apparently 70% of second marriages fail. My sister is a rare case, but this is her third marriage. Go figure. Believe me, they have come close to splitting up. Overall its hard to say. Some people jump from relationship to relationship aka:rebound and people you hear of being married 3+ times. I've known people who will settle for anyone because they are afraid of being alone. Hang in there and take care of you.
